Overview

After procedures such as liposuction, fat grafting, or abdominoplasty, subcutaneous fibrosis (adhesion) can develop, causing the skin to feel hard, tight, and tethered. A combination of radiofrequency, shockwave therapy, and injection treatments is applied to relax stiffened fibrous tissue and promote collagen remodeling, restoring tissue flexibility and a smooth surface.

Mechanism

Radiofrequency energy heats fibrotic tissue to soften collagen cross-links and promote remodeling. Shockwave therapy delivers mechanical pulses that physically disrupt fibrous bands and stimulate neovascularization. Injectable agents (enzymes, anti-inflammatory compounds) may be used to further break down dense adhesion tissue.
