Overview
Body Thermage uses the Thermage platform with body-specific tips designed for larger treatment areas. It delivers monopolar RF to heat the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissue, promoting collagen contraction and remodeling. Commonly used for post-partum abdominal laxity and body skin tightening.
Mechanism
Monopolar RF energy heats the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissue to 65-75 degrees Celsius, causing immediate collagen contraction and long-term remodeling. The body tip has a larger surface area for efficient treatment of broad areas. Integrated cooling protects the epidermis.
