Overview
Brow lift surgery predominantly uses an endoscopic approach through 3-5 small incisions within the scalp. Mechanism
Through small scalp incisions, an endoscope guides the release of periosteal attachments and the arcus marginalis along the orbital rim. The forehead soft tissue is elevated superiorly, and the brows are secured in the lifted position using endotine fixation devices, screws, or sutures to the skull periosteum. The corrugator and procerus muscles may be partially resected to reduce frown lines. The result is a lifted brow position and smoother forehead.
