Overview

LDM (Local Dynamic Micro-Massage) is an ultrasound skin treatment device developed in Germany. It alternates between 3MHz and 10MHz frequencies at a rate of 2,000 times per second, creating micro-massage vibrations on cell membranes. This stimulates hyaluronic acid synthase production, enhances skin barrier function, and provides anti-inflammatory effects. Used for post-procedure recovery, sensitive skin care, hydration improvement, and anti-aging.

Mechanism

The dual-frequency ultrasound (3MHz for deeper penetration, 10MHz for superficial targeting) alternates rapidly to create a dynamic micro-massage effect on cell membranes. This mechanical stimulation activates hyaluronic acid synthase (HAS2/HAS3), increasing endogenous HA production. The vibrations also improve cell membrane permeability, enhance nutrient exchange, and modulate inflammatory mediators for anti-inflammatory benefits.
