Overview
Mini facelift uses a limited incision in front of the ear only to perform a focused SMAS elevation. Mechanism
A shorter incision is made in front of the ear (sometimes extending slightly into the sideburn area). The SMAS is elevated and tightened over a limited area targeting the jowl and mid-face region. The reduced dissection area means less disruption to tissues, faster healing, and lower risk of complications, but also limits the degree of correction achievable compared to a full SMAS facelift.
