Overview

Potenza is a microneedle RF device developed by Cynosure (USA). It features a unique 3-step system: inserting microneedles into the skin, delivering RF energy, and injecting medication (drug delivery) as the needles are withdrawn. Offering both monopolar and bipolar RF modes with various needle configurations, it provides versatile treatment for skin tightening, pore reduction, acne scars, melasma, and overall skin remodeling.

Mechanism

Fine microneedles penetrate the skin to deliver RF energy directly into the dermis and subdermis, bypassing the epidermis for minimal surface damage. The RF energy creates controlled thermal zones that stimulate collagen and elastin remodeling. The proprietary drug delivery system infuses active ingredients (growth factors, peptides, PRP) through the micro-channels created by the needles, enhancing treatment efficacy.
