Rejuran

Overview

Rejuran is a PN (PDRN/polynucleotide)-based skin booster developed by Pharmaresearch (Korea). The PN component extracted from salmon DNA activates skin cell growth factors to promote collagen synthesis, angiogenesis, and anti-inflammatory effects. Available in lines such as Rejuran Healer, Rejuran S (scar), Rejuran I (eye area), and Rejuran HB (hydro booster), it is one of Korea's most representative regenerative skin treatments.

Mechanism

Salmon-derived polynucleotide (PN) is injected into the dermis to activate fibroblasts and stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis. PN acts as a biological signal that promotes skin cell regeneration and enhances the skin's self-healing capacity. Its anti-inflammatory properties also help calm irritated or damaged skin.

Duration

6 months to 1 year (3-4 sessions recommended)

Recovery

Needle marks and slight swelling may occur for 1-2 days. Makeup is possible from the next day. Sauna and intense exercise should be avoided for about a week.

Side Effects

Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, and small bumps at injection sites. Most resolve naturally within a few days. Rarely, allergic reactions may occur; a patch test is recommended for sensitive individuals.
