Stretch Mark Injection

Stretch Mark InjectionTreatment

A supplementary procedure that injects PRP, skin boosters (HA), or collagen stimulators into stretch mark areas to promote dermal regeneration.

Overview

Stretch mark injection directly delivers PRP (platelet-rich plasma), HA-based skin boosters, collagen stimulators (polynucleotide, etc.) into the damaged dermis of stretch marks to promote tissue regeneration. When combined with laser treatment, synergistic improvement is achieved as the injection supplies regenerative factors while the laser creates the stimulus for new tissue formation.

Mechanism

Injected PRP releases growth factors (PDGF, TGF-beta, VEGF) that activate fibroblasts in the damaged dermis. HA-based skin boosters provide a hydrated matrix for cell migration and collagen deposition. Polynucleotide (PN) stimulates DNA synthesis and cell proliferation. These bioactive agents are delivered directly to the zone of damaged collagen, providing the building blocks and signals needed for dermal repair.

Effects

Enhanced dermal regeneration in stretch marks, improved skin texture and elasticity, synergistic improvement when combined with laser, hydration of stretch-marked skin, and accelerated tissue repair.

Duration

3-6 sessions at 2-4 week intervals; best results when combined with laser or microneedle RF treatments

Recovery

Mild redness, swelling, and needle marks for 1-2 days. Bruising possible. Moisturizing important after treatment. Normal activities can resume immediately.

Side Effects

Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, and mild tenderness. Minimal risks due to biocompatible nature of PRP and HA. Results are supplementary; injection alone provides modest improvement compared to combination with energy devices.

Price Range

100,000-300,000 KRW per session

Target Audience

Those undergoing laser stretch mark treatment seeking enhanced results, those wanting to boost dermal regeneration in stretch-marked areas, and those preferring injection-based supplementary care.
