Oligio

Overview

Oligio is a monopolar RF lifting device developed by Genuone (Korea). Using the same monopolar RF principle as Thermage, it features GEN (Generation Energy Network) technology for improved energy delivery efficiency. Positioned as a more affordable alternative to Thermage, it has become widely adopted in Korean clinics for facial tightening and lifting.

Mechanism

Monopolar RF energy is delivered through the skin to heat the full thickness of the dermis (up to 4mm depth). When tissue temperature reaches 65-75 degrees Celsius, existing collagen fibers contract and denature, causing immediate tightening. The controlled thermal injury also triggers a wound healing response that produces new collagen and elastin over the following months. GEN technology optimizes energy distribution for uniform heating.

Skin tightening and firming, wrinkle and fine line reduction, improved facial contour, jawline definition, pore refinement, and progressive collagen remodeling over 3-6 months.

Recovery

Minimal downtime. Mild redness and warmth for a few hours. Slight swelling possible for 1-2 days. Makeup can be applied immediately. Normal activities can resume right away.
