Overview
Oligio uses the same monopolar RF principle as Thermage. GEN technology improves energy delivery efficiency, and it is positioned at a more affordable price point than Thermage. The latest model, Oligio X, offers improved performance and has gained significant market share in the Korean RF lifting market.
Mechanism
Monopolar RF energy is delivered through the epidermis to volumetrically heat the full dermal thickness. At therapeutic temperatures (60-70 degrees Celsius), existing collagen fibers contract immediately while fibroblast activation triggers new collagen and elastin production over the following months. The GEN technology ensures uniform energy distribution across the treatment tip for consistent heating without hot spots.

Skin tightening and firming, wrinkle and fine line reduction, improved facial contour, jawline definition, pore refinement, and progressive collagen remodeling over 3-6 months.

Recovery
