Tenserma

TensermaTreatment

A Korean-made monopolar RF tightening device that delivers radiofrequency energy throughout the full dermal layer to induce collagen remodeling.

Overview

Tenserma is a monopolar RF device developed in Korea. Using the same monopolar RF principle as Thermage and Oligio, it delivers uniform heat throughout the full thickness of the dermis to induce collagen contraction and neocollagenesis. Its key advantage is competitive pricing, making it an accessible option for RF skin tightening treatments.

Mechanism

Monopolar RF energy passes through the skin to generate resistive heating in the dermal tissue. When the dermis reaches therapeutic temperatures (60-65 degrees Celsius), collagen fibers contract immediately and the thermal stimulus triggers fibroblast activation for new collagen and elastin production over the following months. Integrated cooling protects the epidermis during treatment.

Effects

Skin tightening and firming, wrinkle and fine line reduction, improved skin elasticity, facial contour improvement, pore refinement, and gradual collagen remodeling.

Duration

6-12 months (annual maintenance recommended)

Recovery

Minimal downtime. Mild redness and warmth for a few hours. Slight swelling possible for 1-2 days. Makeup can be applied immediately. Normal activities can resume right away.

Side Effects

Mild redness, warmth, and temporary swelling. Some discomfort during treatment. Rarely, burns if energy settings are too high. Not suitable for those with metallic implants or pacemakers.

Price Range

100,000-300,000 KRW per session

Target Audience

Those with mild to moderate skin laxity, fine wrinkles, and those seeking affordable monopolar RF skin tightening.
